Today is a day when I am not in college so I decided that I would start an A1 painting from the photographs that I took of George and Margaret. I decided that I wanted to do one of them both together sitting down, but just there portrait and not the whole body. I printed off a photograph and gridded it and the A1 paper and drew it out in pencil. However when I started painting it I didn't really like the way that it was turning out and that I didn't really like it. I just felt that having them both together on the page didn't work as well as I wanted it to and that there faces were to small for me to be able to paint and be able to see how old they actually were easily, and that it would be better to have them on their own but bigger so I could paint their wrinkles in accurately and so you could actually see that they were quite old.
